I founded my own accountancy practice, taxhelp.uk.com, from scratch in 2006.

Rather than becoming a general practice, I started the business to specialise in helping small business – usually one person running their own business from home.

Also, rather than the usual hourly fee, I chose to operate a fixed-fee scheme – that way clients do not have to worry about extra bills whenever queries arise during the year.

I was invited to Downing Street in 2014, as one out of only 100 businesses chosen from the whole UK, for Small Business Saturday.
